Setting Up Netscape 6.x/7.x and Mozilla 1.x
Open Netscape/Mozilla Mail. Click on Tools > Mail
& Newsgroups.

Once in Mail, click on Edit > Mail & Newsgroups
Account Settings. If you've never run Netscape/Mozilla
before, you may skip this and the next step, and be greeted
with the following screen.

Click on New Account.

Now, you should be greeted by the Account Wizard. Click on
the first choice, ISP or email provider. Then click
Next.

Fill in your name the way you would like it displayed in the
“From:” field. Fill in your email address, then click
Next.

Choose POP or IMAP, then fill in the incoming
server field with mail.yourdomain.com.
If you are unsure of which to choose, choose POP.
Then click Next.
Note: If you are asked for an outgoing server, it should
be the same.

Fill in your User Name as your full
email address with @ and all. Then click Next.

Now, you can name the account. The default is the email
address for the account, but you can also name it something
like “Home” or “Work.” Click Next.

Now you've finished the Account Wizard. Click Finish.
The first time you check your mail, you will be asked if you
want to save your password. If you do save your password,
that will be the only time you will be asked for it.
Otherwise, you will be asked each time Netscape/Mozilla
checks your mail.

Your account should appear like this on the left-hand side.
Highlight your email address (or whatever you called the
account).

Next, click on View settings for this account, which
should appear in the right-hand pane.

Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP). Make sure that “Use
name and password” is checked off, with your username
correctly typed in the space provided.
You are now ready to send and receive mail.
