OSX Apple Mail 1.1 Mail Settings
Start Mail.
Enter the following information:
Full Name: The name you
would like displayed on outgoing email.
Email Address: Your email
address.
Incoming Mail Server:
Enter your incoming mail server (replace yourdomain.com
with your actual domain name).
Account Type: Select POP
or IMAP. If you are unsure, use POP.
User Name: Your username
is your email address (email@yourdomain.com).
Password: Enter the
password.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
Enter your outgoing mail server (replace yourdomain.com
with your actual domain name).
Next, decide whether you wish to Import Mailboxes from
other email software. If you are unsure about which button
to select, choose No to continue.
For SMTP authentication, do the following:

Click on Mail from the Apple menu bar
and select Preferences.

On the Account Information screen
select the Server Settings button.

Select Password from the
Authentication; enter your email address in the User
Name field and your email password in the Password
field. Click OK.
