Netscape 6.x, 7.x, Mozilla 1.x Email Authentication
- Open Netscape/Mozilla Mail.
- The left side of your window will appear as shown in
the left figure below. Highlight the name of your email
account.
- Choose the "View settings for this account" option
that should appear in the right pane of the email
program (see middle figure).
- When the Settings window opens, click the “Outgoing
Server (SMTP)” option shown in the list on the left.
Make sure that “Use name and password” is checked and
that your username is correctly typed in the space
provided (see right figure).
- Click OK. You are now ready to send and receive
mail.
